You’re a multi-dimensional person, and you expect your hair to reflect your colourful personality. When you choose one of our specialty colour treatments, you’ll walk out feeling your natural beauty has been magnified, in hues that match your personality and attitude.

Highlights: Colour that gets noticed

Love your colour, but looking to punch it up? Highlights enhance your hair colour with either subtle dimensional tones or artistic splashes of bright, make-a-statement shades. Highlights consist of selecting thin or thick strands of hair that are then lightened at least 2 shades lighter than the rest of your hair. Highlights complement your hair colour. One misconception of highlighting is that they are ONLY blonde in colour. This is not true, they can actually be done for every hair colour under the sun! Be bold in your own way by working with our salon professionals to create just the right mix for you.

Lowlights: Hair colour lacking depth or too bright?

This is one of the best hair colour services as it gives the most natural effect to your hair colour. If you love the look of highlighting, but don’t want an overly dramatic look, lowlights are the way to go. Low lighting consists of taking thin to thick strands of hair and darkening them at least 2 shades darker than the rest of your hair. Xoma recommends adding lowlights every third time you get your hair highlighted. This will help blend your highlights with your natural hair colour.

Ombre: A gradient of gorgeousness

A rainbow’s loveliness lies in its gradient of shades – flowing seamlessly from one colour to the next. The same is true for Ombre colour, which gradually introduces a specialty colour down the length of your hair. The term ‘Ombre’ is borrowed from the French word meaning shaded or shading. Ombre hair colour is generally darker at the roots through the mid-shaft and then gradually gets lighter from the mid-shaft to the ends. Make the top-to-bottom contrast strong or subtle – it’s up to you. Whatever you choose, our expert colourists will blend it beautifully for an eye-catching effect.

Balayage: Understated shade

The French word for “sweep” or “paint”, the balayage colour experience offers a more sun-kissed,natural-looking hair. Colour is brushed over the hair free hand as opposed to using foils, The principal idea being less is more when creating these looks. You can amplify the hue to vary from a delicate wash to bright and bold depending on your personal preference. Our colour specialists will work with your hair to get the balance just right, resulting in a softer colour that presents less noticeable regrowth lines.
